What about the guys?

A recent WEDPIX article dealing with the male bonding on the wedding day, features one of my images and my take on the subject. Male bonding is something that has been traditionally overlooked when it comes to wedding coverage. Bride with her entourage used to capture most of the attention, leaving little room in the spotlight for her "significant other". But wedding photojournalism is starting to changed that and the guys are now getting their share of the story. And justly so! Isn't it their day as well? The more images of the men appear the more apparent it becomes that guys have feelings too! While a an average male is far less likely to shed a tear at a sight of the groom all dressed and ready to go - as opposed to the bridal suite where misty eyes and wet cheeks are more the norm, the groomsmen are still there for support! A hand-shake, a pat on the shoulder or a dirty joke, it's all a way of saying: I am there for you Man!
