May 25, 2008... her vision

A busy Memorial Day Weekend event. Appropriately we had some sailors, but being in the Times Square, this wouldn't be enough, so there is also a dog with heavy makeup and a hair style and an adorable parrot thrown in. We crossed the Hudson twice, and stopped at a bar for a beer, and then "wicked" laser lighting accented the evening. Here is Margaret's vision of this day. Look for Jack's version of the events below. Congratulations to Stefanie and Mark!

Lot's of sun flare, some flag waving and a quick run into the fountain. Just another perfect wedding. Look for Margaret's post above. All the best to Stefanie and mark!

Sofia and Daniel coming soon...

May 17, 2008

Apparently the guys were out "partying" till the early hours of the morning, and they were sound asleep when we arrived. Though to be honest, they have revived themselves pretty quickly. It was otherwise your typical Chinese wedding in an orthodox church estate (huh?!), with some cemented LOVE (see below) and cute kids thrown in. Congratulations to Irene and Shaw-Ming!

Angel Orensanz

The colors! The possibilities! It's a site of many celebrity weddings (including a certain someone of "Sex and the City" fame...). Ok, but why the post? Well, someone just asked us about this location and then it hit us - Angel Orensanz is our favorite location in New York City!

Something in Blue always was, and still is, a "team"; but our visions are very different. Over the years working in close proximity, we have shaped our styles to complement, rather than overlap, each other. Although our final product is always a combination of "Margaret's compositions" and "Jack's moments", separately they are two distinct points of view. For this reason, we have decided to occasionally post two different visions of the same day... Here is Margaret's take on Shirley and Roger's story.

May 2, 2008... his vision

What a dynamic day it was! After all, it is the city that never sleeps; it never even slows down. A wedding in New Your is always so full of life. Even if one chooses the seemingly tranquil setting of a cherry blossom-filled garden, you are still in New York and you can't escape it's fast pace, rushed steps and quick smiles. Here is Jack's vision of Shirley and Roger on their wedding day.
